Situation

Recently formed through a strategic merger and spin-off, Windstream is America’s largest telecommunications and entertainment delivery company servicing emerging rural markets. As a new brand, Windstream needed an interactive partner to help them embrace the online channel to introduce prospects and existing customers to the company’s product offerings.

Ideas

Create a dynamic online presence for the company’s new brand while leveraging the service-based heritage of the founding companies.

Results

www.windstream.com was successfully launched in July 2006. An integrated media plan including rich media banners and an event marketing microsite supported the phased brand launch. Results from the online marketing plan exceeded goal by 300% in the first month.
