OUR THINKING

An intangible guarantee is a tough sell. THINK needed an interactive experience that would explain the once-abstract Lifetime Price Guarantee while reinforcing Windstream’s commitment to customers and allowing them to promote products.

THE CHALLENGE

As the economy took a hit, Windstream wanted to show its customers they understood the financial challenges they faced. They didn’t want a shallow marketing ploy, but a tactic that would show customers they can really count on Windstream. In came the Lifetime Price Guarantee — an offer THINK needed to incorporate into a site redesign already in progress.

THE SOLUTION

We added a new section to the Windstream site dedicated to enabling users to learn more about the company’s products and services. In this “Discover” section, we built a wall of interactive media goodies (including live chat, video, social feeds, calculators and more) all focused on savings. It was the perfect balance of marketing and corporate responsibility.

Final Thoughts

The Windstream business site won a 2010 WMA Telecommunications Standard of Excellence award.
